It must be really hard for admins to identify the trolls because admins, I imagine, have not been reading every post on a particular stock or reading every single company announcement. To the posters who are right over the stock from every angle, including contact with company management, it is so obvious that the intentions of some are malevolent towards the stock for whatever reason. They twist wordings and intentionally misinterpret for the intention of downramping. They either want the stock price lower because they have a beef with the company, they are shorting or they (or their employers) want to buy at a lower price. Maybe if enough posters (more than 10) report a possible "troll" to admins then that person's postings should be examined by admins in a lot more detail. If more than 80% (?) of their postings on a range of stocks is constantly downramping for the sake of downramping then admins should be able to ask more questions of that poster to determine their motives. I would find it hard to see that anyone posting negatively on a range of stocks doing this for an altruistic motive. Now of course this is one way of dealing with downrampers ... uprampers ... ???
