Are there legal ramifications for directors who are doing what the CHP directors appear to be doing? I mean raising cash every 6 months, paying themselves with that raised cash, and not running the business in a positive manner? People are handing over money based on incentive, and then not receiving that incentive. There must be something illegal about this method of conducting "business".

What's stopping anyone from registering a company, publishing marketing material, raking in investment cash, paying themselves fees, and then declaring bankruptcy?

Is there legal action that shareholders can take?
