    I see that some charts have dissapeared .... here is some material that I posted ... I did some stats and found that moves to -8% of the 89 dsma were significant ... there is some theory behind it but I won't delve into that

    Here are the charts thankfully they are still on my system ... bear periods and showing the relation between 89dsma, -4% and -8% ... the charts I selected were from bear periods ... you can go back and you will see the same phenomenon ... will not work with quick spikes like 1987 ... only longish bears and the C wave - only two others 1937 and 1973 ... please note that I did not show the -10 and the -13% (the 13% was arbitrary with any stats behind it)
