Whole Foods also has a general policy of supporting "local" producers. If we loosely define that, under Amazon ownership, as U S produced, then EVE has done well to be included in their catalogue as a "non local' Overseas supplier. That appears to be a feather in Eve's cap for securing this deal.
Whole foods has...as of March 2020, 487 stores in U S, 14 in Canada and 7 in U K. So, Eve has in this initial contract secured a TENTH of potential market here in one year.
