"The BoDs and management are the real victims?" I've never heard them claim they are the victims. I would hope they would ignore the noise and focus on the task at hand. These (short) forces are natural to bio companies because most fail. You could pay a Bio CEO 10 billion dollars a year, most will fail at a trail level. Success is not a straight line, its a journey.
Bag them out as much as you want, it wont change the next meeting with the FDA or the next trail outcome.
