Me again. I would like to know what constitutes "overnight" by councils. If I stay in a legal parking spot from say 6 to 9 pm have I committed an offence? Of course not!! How about 11pm? At what point have I gone from parking to illegal camping? Another sore point- we have encountered towns (hello Goondiwindi) where the policy is that the ratepayer shouldn't have to provide free facilities to visitors- therefore no free camping. But you can bet that those same ratepayers travel to other regions and use facilities provided. Just lousy!!
Agree with comments re caravan parks self interest but many MHers would not use them anyway. We hate parks - handed a list of rules and wedged into a tiny plot. No thanks.
