    There's an old legal saying: You can't contract outside the law. The law (regulation) states that you cannot drive if you are tired, given you would be a danger to others on the road. Therefore, that law (or regulation) trumps any council by-law with regards to pulling over to sleep for the night - presuming you are to tired to drive sneaky.png wink.png. That would be my moral and legal defense (backed up with numerous government TV adds) if any police person or council functionary tried to move me on. Would they risk their job if you stated you were too tired to drive another 10 yards and refused risk other drivers and pedestrians. I think not - and any judge would agree with your responsible action.
