HotCopper has received a legal threat from QBL in regards to posts made in this forum.
We have already moderated a few of these posts to avoid a prolonged dispute but in the interests of freedom of speech have kept the discussion threads open.
Can you please ensure you do not jeopardise this right by posting statements which may be construed as defamatory, mischievous, incorrect or discriminatory (by race or religion).
It is imperative you understand how to word a post correctly within the law. We don't want any of our members to be sued for defamation. It is a very expensive exercise to defend oneself in court. Note that negative posts can be made, in fact we respect our 'good' contrarians, but they should never be potentially defamatory, 'mean spirited'/ stirring, or malicious.
