Yes, agreed, it does look like management kicked off the recruitment phase at the beginning of the year with an assumption it would procced quickly, then got a rude awakening that recruitment was going to be a lot harder than anticipated. I note that the Monash team was reported ( can't remember where) to have indicated that recruitment should not be a problem, so we can't be too critical of IBX management. Anyway, thats all water under the bridge now, and management are now more keenly aware of what dashed expectations can do the share price and overall sentiment. The technology is good, indeed likely world-class, so the ball is in management's court to redress the recruitment issue. I have managed many projects in my career and have always worked on the basis that you need both a Plan A and a standby Plan B, in fact sometimes I had a Plan C up my sleeve just in case the worst scenario played out. I really hope if push comes to shove that IBX has a Plan B ready to go should the need arise. Thats how a project is properly managed. I'm guessing that IBX's Plan A may have had a bit of a workover already once it became apparent there was a slow uptake in recruitment. Lets hope so and that some more recruitment has taken place
