"clever foreign business people" who choose to invest in Australia are just like our "clever Australian business persons who chose to invest in Australia like Twiggy Forrest, Clive Palmer, Gina , Dick Smith, CTP and so on!!
No difference except the ones you condemn come from a different country not a different Town to you or a different State!
If you feel we Australians are not as clever as other investors on this planet please explain how we have the richest woman on the planet living here?
We have enough expertise and risk takers in this country to achieve what ever we want ! We just lack capital and others have it! Why not take it knowing that 85 to 90 percent of their capital injection remains in our country??
As for them controlling our future we still have a Parliament that can legislate to intervene into any practices that are detrimental to our country's security!!
