Upon reflection, this experiment is one that is probably used by engineers to actually measure the co-efficient of rolling resistance. Add some weights to trolley until it starts rolling downhill - note weight.. then keep taking out weights until it starts moving uphill.
Solve equations for the "knowns" voila you get Cf!!!
