I think you might be going past the point there. Just to clarify I dont want those things to happen.
I was responding to earlier post suggesting stockpiling till the price improves if Cu price deteriorates.
*IF* the cost of production exceeds the price of the product you would destroy value by continuing production and sales in that environment. Bring forward maintenance shut and if price is still stuck below cost go into care and maintenance. Why keep running if you are going backwards?
I'd also like to make it clear that I would like OZL to get on with a good M&A.
*IF* they cant do a good M&A at the bottom of the price cycle then what do they need that idle cash for? Only if they are not using the cash I would like the opportunity to invest it - maybe good if they kept 100mln for a rainy day and have a strong balance sheet but at these Cu prices around $3.40/lb they are quite profitable.
