I had a look at trying to describe the price movements of atv using movements in gold.
Comparing % changes in atv share price vs % changes in POG (ASX-GOLD) leads to the following plot.
The results show that on average a positive movement in POG is coupled with a positive movement in ATV. This correlation is however quite weak.
The results indicate that % changes in POG cannot be used to determine % changes in ATV.
