That is probably not really true since the Spookfish camera design was based on the second best NEA design and at one time NEA were pursuing Spookfish for patent infringement. They gave up I assume because the returns would have not been worth the trouble not because they did not have a valid case. Perhaps someone else can provide more detail. Anyway NEA have since moved to more advanced designs.
