Reoccurring revenue from sold printers as above. There are ongoing fees/consumables for the company to collect per unit, so in their interest to sell a lot of them. Also developing bespoke wire stock (Al-Sca) for sale.

The elephant in the room is do these units sold end up being competitors to contract manufacturing.



My assumption is that they are licensed (and charged) according to purpose. In house purchases like iKAD have a specialised module for their units. There is no reason for them to chase and validate custom contract manufacturing as the software would be prohibitive, not their line of business, excess printing capacity is required, and the commercial terms not likely to support it.
Where the unit is sold for contract manufacturing (aka Singapore) then one could assume a royalty or some other fee on top of standard purchasing that will capture that upside.

Just assumptions here but would be silly to think that they would be slitting their own throats on it and had not thought it out.
