Just wondered if anyone has heard any whispers about some sort of deal between BSM and UML. Unity appear to be having problems getting value out of their nearby Henty mine, and their shares have crashed to a low of around 8cents, but they still have about $40 million in the kitty, which would be very useful to fund BSM's plans. The Henty mine could also be a useful addition to BSM's precious metals plans.
UML are putting their Bendigo operation on care and maintenance this month, and are conducting a buyback of small parcels to reduce their shareholder list, which could signal a clearing of the decks for a merger or takeover.
Just wondered if anyone has heard any whispers about some sort...
