my lack of interest in posting on HC of late comes from the fact that I have lost approx 90% of my investment portfolio in the past 12 months.

my only remaining investment is CQU.
Is this wise given major banks and insurance companies are going broke and im starting to worry about my money with ANZ (lucky I owe them more than i have in cash !)


who knows anymore.
Perhaps DR who should sell out while there is still a bidder to sell to.

the market and environment is changing so quickly and scarily. Nothing is certain now.

call it panic, call it what you will but it took me nearly 30 years to build up my porftolio and to lose it in 12 months is a sign of the danger. I'm no fool and i have been caught. This situation is big. If you think Australia is immune - think again.
looks like my retirement age just got extended.

i wont be selling cqu as really there is no point, it's my only hope of returning some sort of respectability. ANd realisticaly they have as good a chance as any of survivnig this mess.

Many will read this and say - OH this is the bottom,ppl like footsie are panicking and getting out. I challenge those who think that two assess the market again in 12months.
