Yes markets invariably top when the fundamentals seem strongest and bottom when they seem the weakest. This is why the masses usually buy into tops and sell into bottoms. Just like all financial markets: sell during the mania and buy during the panic. Australia is far from panic selling so we are far from a sustainable house price floor.
