Very interesting article in the NZ Herald this weekend.  Basically it concerned a NZ$5 million donation to the Centre for Brain Research.  In the article Sir Richard Faull (one of LCT's Scientific advisors) gives an overview of the areas of research they are looking into.  His view on Parkinsons treatment IMO is a very big tick for NTCell (although not specifically mentioned by name).  In the article he states that he does not expect to see a cure for PD but is seeking a treatment which slows down or stops the symptoms.  Surely this is EXACTLY what NTCell is doing!  IMO good news is coming.  Here is an extract from the article:

"Alzheimers and Parkinson's are caused by multiple factors and there is never going to be an absolute cure," Faull said.

"But ... if you could slow the progression of that disease, you cut the prevalence by 50 per cent because people live longer, are more switched on, and die of something completely different. "If you push it right out past their normal lifespan, then you have in fact cured the disease."
