investor confidence and market in general is definately down, went to a place in athelstone (adelaide) only mid 5s good house too and nobody at the viewing,
another house around the corner from my missus looking over fantastic parkland (in athelstone again) they were asking 520, i come a put a dummy bid in at 450 and two weeks later i had the agant on the phone calling me if i was still serious with that price.
went to an auction today in western suberbs 800m2 block and no registered bidders there were more agents than bidders there.
despite what is said on hotcopper when you are out and about and looking this current market is definately not healthy
but lets wait and see as i am holding of to buy later this year or early next - im thinking that will be good timing
