In the event that me or my parnter lose our jobs would surley be much worse if we had a mortgage rather than rented.
either way we have a very substatial deposit already and incomes that will allow us to buy even in the unlikely event the market does rise from these levels, but in our area inventory is rising and prices are already off 10%.
