The advice is not to rely on a pest/termite/building report conducted by the vendor or agent.
As I said how many would be bidders would risk paying $1,000 for a building inspection/ termite inspection .. when they risk being outbid ?
So auctions remain a risk - as you clearly can't rely on vendors or agents building reports.(see article/link below)
Also vendors are not obliged to provide building/termite inspection reports... and I haven't been to a Melbourne auction where a report was furnished.
AUCTIONS ARE A HUGE RISK !!
