Your management is auctioning the company off to the highest bidder.
whilst telling you guys that the bid was opportunistic ie read..a moment before our finest hour.
now they are letting you know they are on the market.

why is there an open door policy?
answer: they are selling to the highest bidder.

If you seriously believe that they have a genuine buyer willing to offer more than zfx then buy up big on market.
all buyers would know that zfx have the money to out bid them so why get into a bidding war?
cash and stock wont beat cash in total any time.
