'There is a hugh amount to like about MCR.
But, for me, the most telling comment from DM was:
"Once it is clear that the nickel price is in recovery mode and trending upwards we would have the motivation to start rebuilding production. Right now the price is low and flat, and if it stays that way it is quite likely that we will suspend production by the end of the year."
MCR is in the same boat as every other ni producer (except WSA) that is, they need a higher ni price to make a profit.
The SP would almost certainly be sub .20c if they suspend production. So we have three months and if the ni price stays flat or falls further during that time, MCR’s share price takes a tumble.
I have changed my sentiment to hold.'
DSD: Mincor is a fine mine. If it closes in Dec then it illustrates how few Ni miners will keep going. WSA with its exceptional grade is the one to go for as others flounder. Mines across the world are closing.
