Just canvassing HC for thoughts on the effect of a rising AUD?
If the AUD hit $1.10 against the USD, would QBE be profitable, at all?
If AUD hit $1, would QBE be under $20?
If AUD hit 0.95 within a month, (quite possible, esp. if RBA lifts rates in December)... should QBE trade betwixt $20.5 and $21.50?
Is every holder on HC holding because they expect the AUD to drop? Because, the way I look at it, if the AUD rises against the USD (likely? to some extent? 95c).... QBE will likely fall... especially if QBE releases results after the AUD hits 95c to the USD?
There is a great chance I'll buy these on margin with a 2.5 year time frame... (only $3k worth, but)... just talking to a mate..... the effect of a rising AUD is even more serious than I realised?
