Yes the gold move was swift and sure on Friday. There was one other move like this that amounted to nothing. But the prior move was the beginning of the run to beyond $1000usd. That move started with a base of this very level ($800), so next few days probably the key. The decoupling of the USD and other ccy gold price (bar JPY) has been quite stunning since mid Sept. It augers well for AUD gold producers.
