How many times in the last thirty years have we heard people screaming, begging, pleading and wishing for a weak Australian dollar? After all this time how can it be that the only economic ace we have up our sleeve is to diminish and enfeeble the value of our currency?
I have never heard or read of any nation that is strong culturally, politically, militarily or economically with an unwell and decrepit little currency. And I've never heard of anyone wishing for it as much as we do in Australia. How bloody sad... and how bloody embarrassing...
