If you deposit your CDI holdings you will get paid within 3 days of Barrick reaching 66.66% of the shares outstanding. You need to deposit them before May 25th.

With the offer recommended by directors we can expect it to be pretty quick and have the money this month end

As to how much. They are only paying in Canadian dollars
and at today's rate of 1.0350 that's $7.87, but your bank won't give you that. More likely 1.0450 which is $7.80.

And you have to wait for clearance of the cheque.
I think that's why we will see EQN continue trade below the offer price. It's easier to sell now and take the cash as long as the discount is acceptable.
