It's hard to say, unless the subs can be updated to hunt and kill underwater drones. There's no debt to be passed on to our children, that's a load of rubbish, MMT has it right. Absurd that it takes an arms race to induce a stingy government to inject the necessary spending, crucial for the upkeep of a capitalist economy. This all doesn't bode well for the future of cetaceans and marine life.
