I agree that interest rates will go up this year, though I cannot see them heading up steadily nor even at the next meeting.

Volatility is back in the market, and with uncertainty surrounding the sovreign debt issue then the RBA will take a softly softly approach.

I'm hoping they stay on hold for a bit then head up through the later half of this year pulling our dollar up.
