aud/usd thread

Hi everyone,

The FX forums have gone dead quiet so I thought I'd start a new thread and hopefully get people talking again. Being a newbie to the game, I appreciate what everyone puts here on HC. So if you have some thoughts, put them out there for the world to see : )

As for my thoughts, I'm stuck in limbo at the moment and want the market to give some guidance. We're hovering in this 0.785 to 0.80 region over the last few days even though the market (ASX 200) has given up 200 points from the high. Oil has held up ok during this period. USD looked to be gaining some strength but has now stopped in its tracks.

Have done some reading on Daily FX and FX Street but not getting a good sense of things at the moment.

Can anyone please provide some charting guidance? Daily looks like a possible double top to me... but I'm an amateur : )
