Good morning, I’m pleased to announce that Novatti's new stablecoin, AUDD, will go live on 1 November 2022. As previously announced, AUDD is a 1:1 fiat-backed stablecoin that will provide a seamless payment experience and empower users to send currencies or remittances globally with near-instant settlement. Novatti is proud to be the first Australian payments company to deliver on the potential of digital currencies, providing our clients with an innovative new payment solution while creating new revenue streams for our business. The launch announcement was made overnight at the Stellar Meridian conference in Rome where Novatti has been in attendance, networking with financial institutions and blockchain businesses. AUDD will first go live on the Stellar blockchain where users with a Stellar account will be able to access AUDD through any Stellar-enabled wallet. A partnership with Ripple is also in place to launch AUDD on their XRP Ledger, an open-source, public and decentralised blockchain. Developed with support from the Stellar Development Foundation, AUDD capitalises on the macro-level shift to digital payments that underpins Novatti's growth.
