He took it over lots of speed humps at about 85kph which would have caused damage I would have thought, especially to the transmission under power. It might be like corrugated gravel roads where above 80kph you don't feel it anymore but the suspension is being flogged still and he wouldn't have cared about it bottoming out until it slowed him down.
I'm sure they would have shut it down if they could.
The indicators would have been on the left which explains why he kept putting the wipers on but not why he was trying to use them?
