It would be pretty easy for AKP to raise funds from a bank or syndicate of banks to funds contracted orders. Pretty different from looking for funding to continue R&D.
Upfront payment or partial payment is also an option, but in return for something like discounted price / preferential spot in the queue, some sort of exclusivity etc.
At the end of the day, if AKP secure significant orders, funding their production will not be a problem.
