I wondered why they had allowed 12 weeks between announcing the takeover and the vote on HDR's future. When both parties could have had this resolved within half that time. Could time in this case to much of it be TLW's undoing or at least cost them more money via a raised bid.
As regards WPL taking HDR out for Uganda. Well on what little I know of WPL as a company, I would be surprised if they have even considered the benefits of Uganda. I suspect their thinking is more akin to two local footie teams "do not want that lot using our pitch or training facilities".
