If there is any doubt regarding well integrity and considering the issues we had with M1 in regards to wireline getting stuck, (and i know overweight mud didn't help with a 34 degree hole, and the data from M1 helps engineer a better mud system for M2). It would make a lot of sense to be running SBM beyond the (roughly) 2,000 Mtr depth, where our horizons of interest are, as first planned. I understand SBM is prohibitively expensive, but we have the cash, and the upside is wirelining with the best chance possible for success.
So a follow up question for SM:
1. Why are we not running SBM? Which leads into, Why is IVZ so confident drilling with WBM?
