Remember all the decoupling talk in 2007. Well i dont think there was much decoupling in 2008-mar09.
US still the largest GDP around 25% of the world, whilst China with a population approx 5 times the US has around 10%. So if EU and USA go south, i doubt China can save the world with 10%. I think CAN and AUS are very much at risk because of the close economic ties to China fortune. What will happen when China has a major setback, which is already overdue? I agree with the China story long term, but i doubt it goes up in a straight line.
This time its different though! LOL...
So EU is green, so tomorrow looks very bad.
