Thanks, dub. I don't believe that closing the gold window and observable inflation is a coincidence.
But, what needs mentioning right now is that much inflation appears in assets. One example - --$500US for a Da-Vinci painting. Another example - massive Price vs forward Earning ratios in many US listed companies, eg Facebook, Tesla and Amazon (to name a few). Hidden inflation ?
