I usually wait a day or two to see what happens. If the short position rebounds to the previous levels then I assume that Pedro the Brown Suit at ASIC missed a digit. If not I ring ASIC (they hate me now). I then receive a letter thanking me for my concern but not to worry as they are on top of it and will investigate thoroughly. Hmmmmm.... like HSU?
