We would not know if large companies thinking of a takeover are currenly buying the stock. That's not their practice to buy a few million shares of a company which has 65% held by its Top 20. They would approach the BOD and seek a large stake or negotiate a T/O without any initial entry onto the register.
Lets leave a takeover aside for the moment.
Our main concern is those blood thirsty day traders destroying the shareprice during market down turn and shareholder exodus.
