    Yes my reading of this is also that they will be hunter killer types. It's great news IMO.

    IMO this is key to our medium/long term submarine capabilities, and also the first step towards a wider nuclear industry in Australia. Time to plant the seeds and start developing/acquiring the knowledge now.

    I have read that the wider alliance objectives as being sharing in the following areas;

    "Long-range strike capabilities..." While this probably won't be in reference to submarines, it's on the agenda.
