Having a degree in Science I recognize the importance of graphs in plotting data to establish trends and extrapolate to predict parameters beyond the measured limits. In this case, trying to predict the future. Oh for a crystal ball. So how about this....impossible = 0% chance, unlikely 10%, maybe, 25%, possible 40%, if 50/50, could be 60% likely 75%, more than likely 80% probable 90% certain 100%. Confidence limits +/- 20%. If you plot these on a graph of % over time, pray tell what tomorrow will bring? I hope you enjoyed this, it was just for fun. To chartists (I admit on the asx I'm not one at all - human behaviour en masse being somewhat unpredictable), try using some of my percentage words to refine your extrapolations, eg Federation starts next month If (50/50) they announce first stopes are on the way to the mill it is probable (80% chance) more buyers will come in and it could be (60% chance) or maybe even be likely (75%) that the share price will go up. ;-)
