The duds don't last long but they can do s...loads of damage and the dud we got had done the same before so it was really inexcusable. I'm sure we had a case for a class action against the Board but I couldn't afford to set that ball rolling though it's my belief it should have happened.
Anyway here we are. I note from the 7th Aug presentation mining of first stopes from Federation were on track for Q1 2025. So hopefully we get an announcement this week that we are underway. That should give the share price a nice boost if not immediately then as we ramp up production that will be highly profitable. The near surface gold grades are very lucrative especially at current prices. Dragues ore will still be being processed so some cash from that for the full quarter should help boost Q1 earnings with it being hedged around $3400/oz. That's $1000 AUD more than the hedging when we first bought the mine.
