PeakabooauCheck out the drill rig that arrived at Federation this week! You know what this means… exploration is underway!
Today the rig from Deepcore Drilling, a subsidiary of MITCHELL DRILLING INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD, is spinning at 5 metres (m) on the first hole.
With development works just over one month in after Redpath Australia - Mining Contractors and Engineers mobilised to site in late July and the first shot was fired safely into the decline on 1 August, things are moving along nicely at our premiere Project.
Total decline development metres reached 256m this month. Stockpiles and sumps over 37m, and vertically we’ve hit 36m below the portal and 60m below the natural ground surface.
