I see now what you mean , when they do the consolidations , they still hold market order , but the quantities are reduced, as per the consolidation , ie the last one was 50/1 .So sellers then sell 50 times less shares. that is if they had 100 shares in the que it is automatically reajusted to 2 shares.The shares before the cosolidation should have sold for 5 cents , but instead they sold for 2 cents , so sellers got 60 per cent less than they previously would have got pre-consolidation
