What Fools are selling???

AURIONGOLD SELLS ITS INTEREST IN ZIMPLATS

AurionGold Limited (ASX: AOR), has today sold its remaining 21% stake
in Zimbabwe Platinum Mines Limited ("Zimplats" - ASX: ZIM). The stake
has been purchased by a wholly owned subsidiary of Impala Platinum
Holdings Limited.

The shares in Zimplats were sold at a price of A$1.90 per share,
resulting in proceeds before tax of A$35.3 million.

AurionGold indicated at the time of its annual results that it
intended to sell non-core assets and distribute proceeds to
shareholders. The sale of the Zimplats stake is consistent with this
stated intention and net proceeds will be distributed as foreshadowed
in the current financial year.

The Board of AurionGold will meet in October to consider the timing
of this distribution, in light of the progress made on the sale of
other non-core assets by the company.
