My better half tested positive a couple of weeks ago...the 20th of April to be exact. She had a sore throat beginning on Easter Saturday as we headed South to Casino in NSW. it didn't get much better over the next couple of days, She put it down to a bit of a cold as she had been out side in cold a couple of nights prior. She did a RAT test on Sunday when we got back...negative, again on Tuesday the 19th...negative.

Did another RAT on Wednesday the 20th...positive. Great...we both had to go in to isolation as at that stage the rules were if a "close contact" 7 days in solitary! That's now changed of course, if you still test negative and a "close contact" you are free to move about as you please.

Anyway, she went to a drive through PCR test centre on the Wednesday morning after her positive RAT, 24 hours later that came back positive too.

.So..7 day isolation for us both. Her symptoms progressed to a bit of a runny nose but the sore throat eased. She was ok by the end of the 7 days...just climbing the walls.

My thoughts were I should get the thing that way I can tick it off the list. But I have tested negative all the way through and still am still testing negative to Covid. We didn't do anything different, slept in the same bed, used the same bathroom, everything as normal.
...still nothing, no symptoms, negative tests...go figure.
