If we arent prepared to spend 2% + of our GDP on defence we deserve the consequences. We cannot afford nuclear weapons and should not go down that path imo. We should be spending on smart tech, long rang missiles, subs, air warfare destroyers, anti sub frigates, early warning aircraft, drones & radar imo. Whoever presses the nuclear button first will be annihilated in return.
