the aussie car industry failed because no one was buy their cars. plain and simple. holden screwed themselves going with V6's for too long.
Along came toyota and oh what a feeling it is. great to drive but painful in the backside for holden and falcon. Just like kodak.
Not that i minded car workers making one hundred and twenty grand a year. way back them. But i do now. i mind it if cfmeu employees get two hundred
grand a year and the state is screwed. you might not mind it but you might like getting bent over the table like the aussies buying cars way back when.
