I know they made a monster on CSG back in the day in the original boom, but i believe they've said in old AGMs when I use to hold BPT that they had the same opinion as woodside on CSG vs conventional. They hate the ecomincs of it, Just way to many wells and landholders and general BS to manage, the economics equate much closer to large scale manufacturing. They want 6 wells producing the same as a 100 csg wells. One wildcat well producing bonanza flows, that's what BPT want

Why do you make that statement? I'm in the same camp and interested in your thoughts. I personally don't believe they would pay enough for what all believe the business is worth as a takeover. The gas industry is hot and very topical at the moment. Has to be north of $1 to get my interest and my mates, Collectively we hold around 12 million shares. I also assume the cast and crew at Comet are keen for a big pay day and wouldn't sell out cheaply either.
